My wife and I, together with our two best pups, Harper and Haiku, would like to thank Melissa and everyone else at Animal Land Pet Movers for so expertly managing their recent relocation from Washington, DC, to Ericeira, Portugal.
I have to admit the Harper and Haiku's relocation was one of my biggest concerns about deciding to retire to Portugal. But with ALPM arranging their move, it turned out I had nothing to worry about. Melissa stepped me through the whole process, from in-flight kennel requirements and pre-flight paperwork, to the vet "fit-to-fly" check-ups and USDA certifications. The dogs were picked up on time and I was kept informed of their progress from door to door.
They seemed relieved to see us after the long trip, and we were certainly happy to be reunited with them on the other side of the Atlantic. Here are Harper and Haiku lounging by their new backyard pool. What a life!
